We at Occupational Testing, Inc. believe that employee education provides an important foundation for establishing an effective and successful substance abuse prevention program. Our training staff can provide a combination lecture and videotape program that's both informative and motivational. Our program alerts employees to the hazards of substance abuse on their personal health and safety. An Employee Handbook and Substance Abuse Awareness Module can be used to education both current employees and new hires about the problems associated with substance abuse.

 

Supervisor Training

We offer several options for Clients to satisfy the DOT requirements for the training of supervisors in recognizing the signs and symptoms of substance abuse, including the mandatory DOT 382.603a training. This training also includes outlining their responsibility to take corrective action and to follow proper procedures.

Supervisor training is also important for developing an effective deterrent to substance abuse under individual company drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs. A Supervisor Handbook is available to provide supervisors and managers with a resource for confirming symptoms and establishing solid documentation to support any disciplinary actions and/or reasonable suspicion testing.
